MPs attack 'mess' of NHS charges - BBC news article

Most of us in the UK are either being treated for some medical condition or other, or are connected to someone who is being treated.  Many of us will have visited someone in hospital and been shocked at the car park charges or will know someone like my 79 year old mother-in-law who needs a knee replacement operation but has no chance of getting one on the NHS because our local trust is vastly overspent.
